Feral Somatics

A body-led path back to safety, presence, and inner authority

Feral Somatics is a gentle, practical approach to nervous system regulation rooted in lived experience, somatic wisdom, and deep respect for the body’s natural intelligence.

Rather than trying to “fix” ourselves through force or analysis, Feral Somatics works by helping the body complete what it was never allowed to finish — restoring choice, safety, and connection from the inside out.

This work is slow by design.
It is consent-based, non-pathologizing, and adaptable for real life.

What is Feral Somatics?

Feral Somatics integrates breath, movement, sensation awareness, and compassionate curiosity to support nervous system regulation and resilience.

It draws from established somatic traditions while remaining accessible, flexible, and grounded in everyday practice — suitable for adults, families, and eventually teens.

This is not therapy.
It is not a replacement for professional support.

It is a set of tools you can return to again and again to help your body feel safer, steadier, and more at home in itself.

A note on lineage & sources

Feral Somatics is informed by the work of many brilliant teachers and researchers in the fields of somatic psychology, trauma-informed care, nervous system regulation, mindfulness, and embodied healing.

These resources do not claim ownership over any single modality.
They are an applied, integrative offering shaped by lived experience and deep respect for the lineages that came before.
